POINT INCIDENT FIRE IN COTTONWOOD: 225 ACRES, 30% CONTAINMENT. SOME RESOURCES BEING  PULLED FROM THE INCIDENT. EVACUATIONS STILL IN PLACE AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE. NO DAMAGE REPORT AND CAUSE UNDER INVESTIGATION.

POINT INCIDENT COTTONWOOD. 225 ACRES, 30% CONTAINED FROM CALFIRE TEHAMA GLENN UNIT: Air Operations are ramping down as resources are being released. Wind driven spot fires to the South of Evergreen Rd will continue to be watched for. Fire is checked with retardant as crews build lines around the fire. EVACUATIONS REMAIN IN PLACE.

POINT INCIDENT started at Gas Point Road and Libby in Cottonwood. Quickly jumped Cottonwood Creek, and is reported at 100 to 150 acres with rapid rate of spread. Evacuation orders in effect for everything Evergreen west and Bowman to Starr. Ground crews are being joined by four air tankers.
